My members to donate to keep the site ad-free?

sign up for a paypal account (www.paypal.com), then create a button with a set amount of funds, eg 5 dollars (remember that you'll lose between 1 and 2 dollars on each transaction....) then post the code for teh button in one of your free spaces on your portal page

yes but how do i direct it to my website account, to keep it ad-free

so how do i know its getting directed to the correct place?

There are two ways. One way is to have the members pay directly. There should be a link at the very bottom of your website pages that says make this site ad free. They can t click it and be directed to the page to purchase ad free.

Or you can collect donations to keep your site ad free. The best way to do that is to use paypal.

First you will go to paypal. Sign up.

THen you will go to Merchant Services. Its a tab at the top of the screen click it.
You will see a box on the right side that says this:

Click on Donations
NOw you will create the type of mutton you want.
After you are done you will get a html code to place on your portal.

You will add the button to your portal it will look something like this

Your members can click it and donate to your ad free.

THEN when you have money in your paypal account you can go to your admin page.

Go to General Admin. You will see Counter/Ad-Free Config . Click it. Then a page will come up that says

Thanks for your interest in donating to
whateverwebsite

Your non-refundable purchase buys advertisement-free page-view credits for this forum.

Upon completion of payment, credits are added and the forum admin will be notified of your donation by email.
This notification will include your username. If you wish to donate anonymously, please logout and return to this page.

Please read our Ad-Free Overview before making your purchase.

50,000 ad-free views for just $5 175,000 ad-free views for $15

Click the one you want.

Then you will have to sign in with paypal agree that you want to buy it and boom your done.

ok i have a donate button but for some reason the code isnt working correctly i added the code to a custom box in portal

when you click on it . it takes you paypal but says click to retry entry this is the same code i used on my last forum any ideas?
