In your Admin Cp you have a Portal Config option. On the lower half of the Portal Config screen you will find a Poll Module.

If you now go back to your forum index and load one of the forums in your browser you will notice a number assigned to that forum in your address bar. For example, General Forum Support here is ../support.forumwise.com/support-forum-4.html .
Take that number from any forum where you want to grab polls and put it in the Poll Module Config.
