Hi Mark;

OK, I've gotten in touch with bizkit and we have started testing. The initial PM's, emails, notifications worked fine. We'll just keep at it over the next few days and see if we can duplicate the error.

If and when we do I'll copy and paste in the URL per your very good instructions.

Guys... I really appreciate the fantastic support you have given me and my site. Can't thank you enough.

Dear Mark;

bizkit and I have been unable to duplicate the problem with private messaging. It seems to be working for him now... but... it has shifted to another member. wvbuckbuster is now experiencing the exact same problem. He gets notification that he has a PM. He even gets the onsite popup when he logsin... no message.

I will try to do a test session with him now, but he's a little technicaly challenged (as I am) Very Happy

Hope we can track this down. I don't know how wide spread the problem is, the site is small and not very active, but I would like the feature to work.

Thanks for your attention. You and the whole support staff have been great in tryint to help and with your patience.

One thing to note is that if a user gets a private message, views it, but navigates backwards to the original page that produced the PM popup, the HTML is not refreshed meaning that the popup will occur again even though the message has already been viewed. Don't know if that is the issue in this case.
