Even if it were available (and possible to implement to the HTML source) where do you plan on replicating the data? The only other logical place to put it would be the index and it's already there anyway...

Confused

actually im duplicating parts of the front page in html to add more pages via other webhosting (since web hosting isnt available here yet for more pages) to flesh out the front page/portal/site...

there will be links added to the portal page (via top left custom module) that will then link to these seperate pages but will keep the same basic theme going.

actually.. on second thought as i sit here thinking about it.. might be better off for the whole "page' to just disable the statistics on the portal page...

ignore this request.. thanks!

*edit*-- ya.. i can type today.. not..

I think you'll find that it is PHP script that is being called via relative indexing (relative to the root/template path) and that the data you mentioned is being implemented via an "orbital" route, or in turn kind of indirectly, and that would be difficult to call from a foreign server/host.

However, I may be wrong. I'm just saying it's very unlikely to work unless you host the whole package yourself.

But that said it may be worth hanging on for the last word. Just don't get your hopes up, that's all. Laughing

ya.. gonna hang onto hope.. since i just went looking and there's no option on the portal config to disable the statistics box... so unless i can get that disabled... would really appreciate the scripting for that box...

on another note.. got the shoutbox to work though... Smile

if u wanna see the process im working on.. the first page is done and linked (without the statistics box)... u can check it out by going to the forum at http://covenant.forumarena.com and clicking on the "guild charter" link on the left side...

the page is currently linked on my private web hosting space until we get a domain name and other web hosting for extra pages.. Smile

Nice graphics.

I wouldn't expect too much though from <iframing> the forum content as the log in/out functions work relatively, and therefore your own host will be excluded from that route.

Just saying in advance. Laughing

karii,

I like what you are doing, but we don't have any options to remotely pull the stats box.

Also, no option to disable it either at this time.

We may add some kind of custom pages though eventually, your work is inspiring me a bit.... hmmmm.....

Thank you!.. took the better part of a day to duplicate via html & notepad the subblack effects on the pages.. but, going smoother now as i work to flesh out adjust, change the rest of the site around to get a full website going in conjunction with the forums...

I know ive been asking alot lately due to mass amounts of work ive been putting into the site and thank u for putting up with me.. lol... now.. about some of those tweaks?.. Laughing

think i could twist your arm a little to get u to edit the code somewhat to allow us to disable the statistics box... and maybe while your at it, the "who's online" and the "welcome" box... allowing admins alot more freedoms with their portal page.. especially for those of us who are looking to make our portal page appear more like a web site?

thanks once again in advance.. Very Happy

You can disable the welcome box.

I'm not sure if you are talking about the custom html top-center welcome box, or the Personal Welcome/Time Module box, but both of those can be disabled.
